  Faenza Main Garden, Green Lung

  It is based on what was once the Darmi Square (the name, according to the Faenza tradition, still exists), which was used until the early 20th century for military practice and then, until the 1960s, as a herder of horses.
  It was built in the early 1970s by Faenza Municipality with precious cooperation, at least from a wrong and vegetarian point of view, by Roberto Pucci, a Faenza industrialist dedicated to his garden, the care of nursery and natural Cesar Galligatti.
  Prominent extension (more than 8 hectares, not a little at those times), the richness of the tree and tree system and the presence of lakes are the elements that characterize this park. Even with the proliferation of exotic plants - the apparent legacy of fashion in the 1960s - the garden already shows a particular interest in native species and at some points (for example, bee barley spots on the north side or little oak groves), in the center) reveal groundbreaking insights, attributed to a world Nature Gallegati. The beauty of plant groups - especially oak-holm on the west side of the hill, due to the colors of autumn, ginkgo biloba and liquidambar on the east side - is enhanced by large grass extensions. Another dominant element is water with two lakes connected by a stream, small islands, small bridges. The animals that are introduced are made up of many types of antids, even with very interesting species such as pentyl and scrap. But more importantly, wild animals, with the types of easy observation - breasts, black plaster, ruler, florist, starter - but they are well present in the garden and also partly nesting.
  Existing plants (may have slight variability) are 1,580, of which more than 1000 trees are long; otherwise it is shrubs.
