It is the oldest green area of Dresden
The emphasis on the diagonal creates spatial depth despite the small width. Charming are the pond with fountain, but also the view to the towers of the Kreuzkirche and the town hall. Various sculptures and two fountains accentuate important parking lots. The honors of Peter Josef Lenné on the occasion of his 200th birthday in 1989 made possible a complex reconstruction of the grounds under garden preservation aspects, which was essentially completed in 1993.
