The agra park is a place of recreation and culture at the same time. With the cultural institutions, the White House (concert and art exhibition center), the German Photo Museum, the museums in the Torhäusern Dölitz and Markkleeberg, he invites all year round as a destination. The water mill Dölitz as a technical monument, the eco-school Markkleeberg as well as the music and art school "Ottmar Gerster (field office) are fixed educational and adventure places in the park. Virtually every cultural genre is to be found in the park, and dining options round off a visit.
Quite a few people still associate the agra park today with the international agricultural trade fairs, which took place until 2003 on the adjacent agra event site in the cities of Leipzig and Markkleeberg. The agra event area with its halls and open spaces will be multifunctional for festivals, fairs, markets, concerts u.v.a.m.
