Solmspark's origins come from a classic garden
In 1935, the city of Frankfurt am Main took over the castle and the park with its wide range and tree clusters. In 1943 the bombs destroyed the castle so that in 1953 the last remnants had to be removed. The complex was converted into a city park with new trails and a children's playground. It has been listed since 1986. The park is affected by its old and private trees at times, such as the big walnut in the central park area.
