It is a great place to enjoy a walk in the woods.
There are many sporting facilities in the park including a 12-piece fitness trail and a 1km woodland and meadow run. The walled garden is home to Everyone's café which is run by volunteers for the benefit of the park. Central Park has received the Green Flag Award.
