I had a successor location on Newcastle Road
The ground was extensively renovated for the 1966 World Cup with the seats installed in the Stand Stand and the roof was added to the end of the Fulwell. During the World Cup, I played three games in the group and the quarterfinals between the Soviet Union and Hungary (2-1) on the ground.
