The park has achieved Green Flag status since 2007 and is well landscaped.
The playsite with inclusive play equipment sits comfortably next to the refreshment kiosk so parents and carers can enjoy a drink whilst younger children play.
The park is well used by local schools for various sporting activities as well as by sports clubs for football, cricket and hockey.
