This small garden is located in Edinburgh’s Southside, on the edge of the Capital's World Heritage Site. Its trees and flower beds add a welcome splash of colour and greenery to this part of the city. The garden is surrounded on three sides by a mixture of tenement flats and a variety of local shops.
The two trees on either end of the park are decorated each Christmas by illuminated tree lights and the local community attend in large numbers at the light turning on ceremony every December. The Christmas lights used to be displayed on a pine tree which for many years was the centre of attraction within the garden. Unfortunately this was lost in gales around 2004 and replaced by the present tree now in place.
