Containing all the plants that surgeons needed
The garden was created by the Worshipful Company of Barber Surgeons who wanted to present a broad view of the way in which plants have been used from the earliest times to the present day in the practice of medicine and surgery. It now contains around 45 different species of herb plants which were grown to treat wounds, bruises and burns.
