The largest wetland in Morocco
Most of them are adapted to live in water or in soils that are too wet, resistant to seasonal heat. The reserve is rich in animal diversity, from mammals such as rabbits, mice, cannons and sirops, to reptiles such as the Greek turtle, the spotted turtle, spotted herds and harp, to a protected area of 650 hectares, containing about 210 species of trees, plants, frogs, snails and various types of butterflies. More than 140 species of invertebrates were identified in the reserve.
