The park is a tourist landmark and a Moroccan national park that contains more than 154 biological and ecological sites
The park is located 46 kilometers south-west of the province of Taza, in the hills and surrounding areas of Mount Tazka and this park with an area of 580 hectares at an altitude of 1.980 m. Was established by ministerial decree of 11 July 1950, in order to preserve the beautiful natural cedar forest covering the top of the mountain. This tree has a large diameter, and its height is between 35 and 40 m, sometimes nearly 600 years.
