Largest Oasis in Al Ain
Situated on an area of 1200 hectares in the center of Al Ain, this oasis makes it the largest oasis in terms of area. The farmers care for more than 147,000 palm trees of different species, about 100 percent, as well as fodder crops and fruit trees, such as mangoes, oranges, bananas, figs and jujube (locally known as seders). Separate plots of land are separated from each other by historical walls.
