An arboretum-like area rich in native species
Its central element is the boating lake, from which several islands stand out. One of these is the “island of love,” to which the legend of eternal love is attached.
The lake was fed by an 18 ˙C spring. From this comes the Hejő stream. One of the main attractions of the lake during the warm seasons is the water lilies that bloom in it. Along the water, the alder plant association of the remaining spring bog and the old pedunculate oak bordering it are of interest.
