Garden with ruins of the old Convent of São Francisco and stone symbols
It became a public garden in the late fifties of the last century. In it, along with the various species of plants, there are other reasons of interest that give it a very special “romantic” character, such as the scenographic presence of the Gothic vestiges of two chapels of the old Franciscan cloister and a historic collection of epigraphy and sculpture in stone, made up of coats of arms of the kingdom and of important local families scattered throughout the enclosure.
