This green oasis is surrounded by the Nabão River, creating several areas interconnected by a bridge and a small dam. The park offers beautiful views of some of the most important landmarks in the city. Above the trees appears the tower of the Church of São João Baptista, built in the area known as Praça da República. Go to the island in the middle of the Nabão River to see the famous Templar Castle. Also be dazzled by the beautiful view over the bridge and the houses in the old town.
On the banks of the river there is a water wheel made of wood, still in full operation, which in the past supplied water to the mills and mills.
