Garden located in the city center where we can find a monument dedicated to Soares dos Reis
The garden dates from the beginning of the 20th century when a chain that was on the site was demolished. On October 30, 1904, the statue of the sculptor Soares dos Reis was inaugurated, sculpted by his disciple Teixeira Lopes.
The garden contains beautiful specimens of willows, oaks, poplars, camellias and numerous other shrubs
