It is a favorite place for city residents
It is located between the streets of Riga and Parade. Paul Dubrovin (1839--1890), who was mayor of the city from 1876 to 1890, took an active part in its installation. That is why the park was named after P. Dubrovin and erected its memorial. A bronze statue approximately 2 meters high (sculptor Alexander Taratinov, 2007) is found in a specially created square near the fountain. During the Soviet era, a memorial to Soviet soldiers was created in the garden. The park is a favorite place for city residents. On hot summer days, everyone can find refreshing refreshments in the large fountain, and in the evening, look at its varied play of light and water.
