It is the oldest park in Narva
It is one example of garden architecture in the late nineteenth century, and it is located on bastions.
There are two monuments in and around the park. The first of these is cast iron constructed at the Victorian stronghold in 1853, in memory of the Russian soldiers who fell into the siege of Narva during the Northern War. The second memorial was erected in November 1918 for soldiers killed in the Estonian War of Independence.
