The best place to take relax
At the end of the nineteenth century, art gardener Yan Hahman, who took care of Skalnik Gardens, realized his grand plan to build a new city park. In the years 1877 - 1878 he planted trees, oaks, maples, and elms on the grounds of the former Wintr Park behind the Military Spa Institute. The park is finished with sandy paths, rose bush pyramids, flower beds and still fresh water with a fountain. Between 1880 and 1881, the Blanenský Pavilion for cast iron concerts and a restaurant hall were built in ropes according to the design of Cork Fellner and Helmer architects.
