There is a deer park and a petting zoo in the park
The park is fifty hectares and was laid out in the sixties of the twentieth century. There is a deer park and a petting zoo in the park. The Gorecht pond, one of the ponds in the park, is used as an ice rink in winter. On the west side is a club building of a scouting group.
In 2006/2007, parts of the park were refurbished on behalf of the municipality and the possibility for outdoor activities was expanded. Part of the deer park was converted into a Nature and Environmental Education Center (NME) with a nature garden, where pupils can learn to deal with nature, among other things.
