A welcome facility for young and old
The original design of the 3-hectare park dates from 1920. In 2003, the municipality of Almelo commissioned the well-known architectural firm Fortuyn O'Brien to redesign the park, in which the leisure function in particular had to come to the fore. Central to the design was a newly designed pond. The park was officially opened in September 2005 in a festival for and with local residents.
