The second urban park in Olomouc
The park contains a monument to the liberation of Olomouc by the Soviet Army, which was unveiled in 1945 by a statue of Bushina Nemkova of Professor V Navarel and a memorial to the famous graphic artist Olomouc Karel Leinhardt. The architectural monuments of the park include the so-called Litovel Gate, which was moved to the park entrance in 1896.
