  In the second half of the 1970s, the situation and leadership of Slezanov n changed. P. Efforts to operate the zoo Frýdek - Místek went bankrupt. Frýdek Zoopark was finally closed in 1976. Most of the animals were sold to the surrounding zoos and the park was closed. The owner of the garden took care of Slezan n. P was minimal, so he began to leave his air strikes quickly. Much of the zoo equipment has been dismantled or stolen. The perpetrator of the unknown crime until he cut the ginkgo biloba specimen. With the construction and landscape within the city, the water source in the previous water bottle, which was later canceled, was lost, and the pond dried up in the garden.
  In recent years, the current owner has carried out at least the necessary maintenance of a closed garden.
  In 2013, the initiative was founded in the city: the Faunapark Frýdek-Místek Association, which aims to save the local park and restore the small zoo.
