There are columns with a fountain and obelisk from 1818 to celebrate the victory over Napoleon. In the 1960s, the garden became a desirable place thanks to a café with a dance terrace. In 2003, extensive garden reconstruction was completed, which corresponds to the current model. The Cross crosses the anniversary of the Pope's visit to Brno in 2009 on the southeastern side.
