There are many hiking trails with a beautiful view of Prague. Košíře-Motol Nature Park has 3 important natural landmarks: the Vidoule Natural Monument, the Motol Ordovician Natural Monument and the Calvary Natural Monument in Motol. On Vidoule PP there is one of the highest places in Prague - the Vidoule Mountain which is 371 meters high above sea level and in the past there were many sand pits and quarries where sandstone was mined. This subsoil provides favorable conditions for the semi-steppe vegetation to grow. The area of geological importance is primarily Motolský Ordovician PP, where there are large deposits of triple pellets and above all unique geological prospecting on the frontiers of charitable degrees, which consists of two main interfaces, slate and quartzite. PP Calvary is made of basalt rocks, which rise above the valley and can be seen from above from far away. The subsoil provides optimum conditions for thermal plant growth, and here we can find for example very rare remains of Allium rigum Schrad.
