A number of artworks are situated in the park
The site was donated to the Municipality of Enschede in 1958 by the last inhabitant of the villa. This allowed the Boulevard 1945 to be extended. The villa was made available to the Textile History Foundation. The textile museum in this building was opened in 1962. The villa is now used as an exhibition space and is known as the Villa de Bank.
