An experimental garden for successful plants in Lapland, Rovaniemi
In the garden there are many activities: a children's playground, sandy fields and meadows. There are 1.2 km of park paths, which are converted into a ski track in winter.
About 10,000 plants were planted, of which 44 (200 in total), 65 (about 3,200) shrubs and 144 (about 6000) of perennials. The plants are named in Finnish and Latin. The cost of green space was about 1.3 million FIM.
