  The purpose of the facility is to attract and collect youth

  Together with the Municipality of Roskilde and the University of Roskilde, the Civil and Civil Engineering Foundation set the first example of a large campus area activity site. The activity site called 'Trekroner Hub' consists of a variety of motion, cultural expression and entertainment options.
  
  The purpose of the facility is to attract and bring together young people from all over Trekroner and students from RUC and UCSj about physical and social activity.
  
  It should make the place attractive for students to meet outside of the lectures on joint activities and group work. At the same time, it should be attractive to young Trekroner who lack a place in the area where they can be together. Thus, the site should be the catalyst for the development of a diverse city life, physical activity and community across the Trekroner and Trekroner campuses.
  
  The project is supported, as a result of the Fund's work with the focus area "Campus for Sport and Culture", which is an interesting example of how cooperation between the university and the municipality can lead to a bridge between a local community and an educational institution.
