Woodpeckers, squirrels, carp, spiders, frogs, toads, dragonflies, butterflies and lots of special plants, shrubs and trees can be admired in the beautiful botanical garden Hortus Nijmegen. After a walk through the Botanical Garden or along the beautiful flower borders of the Tea Garden you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea under the large parasol or in the greenhouse. Moreover, there is a sculpture garden where art and nature come together. The Hortus offers various excursions for primary school students.
