One of the oldest Bürgerpark parks for urban residents in our country.
Various types of well-preserved trees include: oak, maple, ash, mountain top, forest and foliage, gray alder, balsam poplar and silver willow. The steep slopes of the garden overlook the castle and across Vanajavesi to the beaches and Aulanko Park.
Hämeenlinna City Park is part of the national value landscape area in the Vanajavesi Valley and Aulanko and part of the first city national park established in Finland.
