The park includes extensive cultivation areas for testing Azalea varieties by the University of Helsinki
The garden contains many cover plants, berry shrubs, apples, pears, cherry and plum trees, and many types of jasmine plants.
Plant groups are provided with naming labels, and include perennials such as iris, cabbage, day lilies, peonies, hostesses, leopard plants, and permanent climbing plants.
