At the southern end there are a lot of older, stately pines, which give this part of the park its own character. Here you have the opportunity to find shade throughout the day.
During the renovation in 2011, a tiling was placed around the fountain which provided better seating in the heart of the park. In the fall of 2019, the fountain got a new fountain figure created by Torbjörn Berg. The imaginative figure in stainless steel is partly made of recycled material. The area around the fountain has a cozy feel thanks to the discount that faces the monksund road. Here, too, you can find inspiration for your own discounts.
