It is one of the oldest park areas in Kouvola
Regiment Park will be renewed this spring and summer. Poor trees are removed from the garden and the harvested hedges surrounding the park are completely replaced. New trees, shrubs and perennial groups will be planted in the garden and the wall and staircase structure will be restored in front of the Officers Club. A permanent area will be built in front of the wall and seats will be brought. Perennials are also grown on the upper floor of another arched wall structure. The garden areas in the garden will be revived by planting some blooming flowers. The gray stone lanes in the park will be renovated and the park area will be replaced by lamps that match the historical look of the park.
