The library garden is part of the Tammerkoski National Landscape

In the garden of the old library on the western coast of Tamerskowski, there is a swan statue of Professor Josie Mantonin, built in the 1930s. The statue depicts two planes reaching their sky facing the sky and surrounded by wonderful types of perennials in summer. The stone and flower arrangements around the statue were restored during the renovation. The statue is lit in the dark.

The western shore of Tamerkowski also finds a red strip of chandeliers. There is also a paved spot along the boardwalk, which is reminiscent of the Frenckell wood grinding mill that was located on site. Its ruins are underground. Wood mill buildings also included the remaining chimneys and boilers.

The most important statue of the park is located in front of Laikku, the old library building. Hengetär Blessing the Poet, carved by Väinö Aaltonen, was held on the anniversary of Aleksis Kivi in 1928
