Designed for hiking, gardening and relaxing park benches among trees and flower beds. In contrast, cross-street play areas were designated in the new Tehtaanpuisto Park in the 1920s and 1930s.
According to the original photos and gardening documents, the original garden design was very rich and varied. The variety of plants was extensive and at least unique as in the city's old parks. A large number of different subjects were meticulously combined in the small garden. The result was a wonderful garden-like environment. The most visible element in the design is a pair of large flower bottoms with perennials that bloom throughout the summer. In the spring, orange blossoms sparkle with their large blossoms, followed by characteristic Helsinki purple blossoms.
