The oldest park in Ternopil, planted at the end of the nineteenth century

There are now about 40 species of trees and shrubs in the old garden. The basis of trees are the ancient timers of the garden - white poplar, beech wood, maple tree, in addition to other fallen plants (oak, ash, beech, hazelnut, linden, chestnut) and conifer - (pine, fir, fir, common juniper, Cossack spruce, Canadian spruce). Trees and shrubs.

The formation of six concrete towers symbolizing the triumphal salutation is 6.5 meters and 35 meters in diameter.

In the middle is an "eternal flame" and a double, bearing the "National War Medal" (coin on copper). The lower part of the columns is fastened with a concrete belt in the form of a collar. On both sides, the stairs lead to a granite platform. In front of the monument is a sign of the grave of the unknown soldier. The inscription is engraved on the stove: "Your name is unknown, and Khaled's wit." The entire sculpture and memorial complex was rebuilt in 1984 to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of the liberation of Ternopil.
    Call the mother
Composition of the sculpting "Mother's Call"

On the left at the central entrance to the park is a 10-meter-tall copper statue of "Mother's Call" (sculptors Vasily Sadovnik, Kazimir Sikorsky, 1985).
    Military equipment

In the southeastern part of the park there are several units of military equipment: a tank, a rifle, an armored vehicle. On the horizontal granite ceiling there is a list of joints and parts that were distinguished during the liberation of Ternopil from German invaders and received honorary names. At the end of August 2016, according to the Ternopil City Council decision, the APC was delivered to Ternopil NTP "Promin" for testing.

Near the Heroes Alley, there is a military cemetery, which opened in 1944. It has a rectangular shape (12 x 28 m) with a semicircular rim, with a radius of 8 meters. Here the 4 heroes of the Soviet Union are buried - Alexander Maximenko, Mykola Karpenko, Anatoly Zhivov, Heruri dancers and 226 additional soldiers. A total of 27 horizontal panels of dark gray granite in three rows, which carved the names of the dead.
