A nice little oasis in the city center
A park in Sundsvall that consists of a pond surrounded by willow trees. Previously, there was a natural pond, the Western pond. The Bünsowska pond was created in 1885 by bringing fresh water from Lake Sids to the old pond. Behind the water pipe was the wooden cartridge Fredrik Bünsow. Maples were planted around the dam in 1909 and in the 1930s the large arrows found around the pond were planted.
