Beautiful location with beautiful views of the city
The city park is located on the Dunkehalla plateau, 30–50 meters above the city center level and construction of the park began in 1896, when the park was inaugurated on September 13 of that year. Today the park has an area of about 37 hectares. The city park is more than 100 years old and is one of the municipality's main assets. Many come here to experience all the park's activities and facilities and to enjoy the beautiful nature or to take part in the various activities that are found in the park.
