  It is the oldest and largest park Poltava

  Founded in the early 19th century. The garden was created at the site of a natural oak tree belonging to the owner SM. Kochubei.
  
  According to the project m. Afrosimov, the area was fenced, trees were planted, trees and greenhouses were constructed, where citrus and flower crops grew. In 1820 a gardening school was established in one corner of the city park, which existed until 1841. During the terrible fascist occupation, centuries-old oak trees and other garden trees were destroyed. But on the anniversary of the liberation of Poltava, and in the year of victory, the delicate Poltava planted a wonderful garden again and called it the Victory Theme Park.
