  In 1958, this 13-hectare park was donated to the city's children's park. In the future, the park envisioned a lot: a zoo, an aquarium, an open "green theater", a swimming pool to test models of young technicians, a circular path to test flight models, a "traffic safety city" was organized. For young children, "Fairy Tale Corner" was made with Papa Yoga, Heroes and the World Cat, Rusalka and Ruslan with the head. Local elderly reported that at first the head was glowing with his eyes and blew a fan out of his mouth, but this greatly frightened the children and the designers had to stop them. There are also many attractions in the park.
  
  Until 1976, the Children's Park was the only park of its kind in the Soviet Union. Later, through his example, children's gardens were created in Cherkassy, ​​Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don and other cities of the country
  
  
  Crimea Observatory for Children, base of the Small Academy of Sciences, established in Simferopol in 1963, is located on the territory of the Children's Park.
  
  In 1970, the grand four-story Pioneer Palace was built in the garden with a variety of beakers, gyms, its cinema theater and dining room. The Children's Park at this time has reached its peak: the designers tested their planes, missiles and submarines. Small animals got into the animals at the corner of the zoo, and young artists showed their talents at the "Green Theater" stadium.
  Period of desolation
  
  After the collapse of the Soviet Union, problems began in the children's park. The “traffic safety city” was completely destroyed, and there were no car signs, except the remains of the previous traffic lights. The circular track fence was broken to test aircraft models, and in its place many new flights were put. They demolished the prototype test set near the Pioneer Palace and built a bowling alley in place. There is nothing left of the Green Theater. Old rides were demolished and new trips were replaced. Now in the park, you can see only two ancient rarity - the so-called "boats" or "Russian swing" and "Saturn".
  
  In the 1990s, the Children's Observatory, the zoo gardens and the aquarium remained only existing facilities. The observatory erected a large fence around its buildings, protecting the telescopes.
