  Pre-Soviet period
  
  The park was created on the basis of a block of oak trees of oak, which separates the western outskirts of Vinnytsia and the territory of Magnates of Groholsky (Pyatnichany), and is also bordered by a narrow piece of landfills (up to 5 hectares in oak Roman cemetery).
  Soviet period until 1946
  The active cultural and educational work of the park, the care of the organization Vinnitsa recreation led to the fact that in 1969 by order of the Ministry of Culture of the USSR the park became a systematic center of 4 regions and was called "Central". For a meaningful cultural mass, physical work and fitness, the level of improvement in the park has repeatedly received memorable banners, logos, diplomas, medals and diplomas. Thus, in 1986-1989, the park was awarded a transitional red flag of the Ministry of Culture of the Soviet Union, which was delivered to the park for life. In 1986, park staff received a certificate of honor from the Presidency of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the park. For 40 years, he oversaw all the holidays and celebrations in the city with the Melody group in the garden (in the summer theater).
