  The park features a summer cinema and children's attractions (fun trains, traditional beams and series), which opened on May 1. These facilities are currently neglected. Instead, they are equipped with a new playground.
  
  The Square regularly hosts events to celebrate various holidays. On the day of the city, the square is filled with participants in the Festival of National and Ethnographic Cultures. For a long time on this day, the square was used to hold a flower show, which was later transferred to the substrate area near the train station.
  
  Every Saturday and Sunday (except for winter), the orchestra plays the municipal wind and a varied music theater near the fountain.
  
  In the 1990s - early 2000, summer floors from the cafe appeared in the garden during the spring and autumn season. However, the Office of the Prosecutor protested this practice by referring to the Law of Ukraine "On the Natural Reserve Fund of Ukraine".
  
  At the same time, the Lugansk City Council for a long time did not approve the technical documentation for the establishment of the borders of the Young Guard Square, its square. Heroes of the Great Patriotic War, the Ostra Muhila Memorial and other nature conservation sites in Lugansk. As a result, officials allowed entrepreneurs to build a two-storey pharmacy in the park.

  Plants and animals
  
  As an object in the natural reserve fund, this garden was studied a little by biologists. In general, in plant and animal species are predominant: from plants - bitter chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum L.), from animals - dogs (Canis familiaris) and cat (Felis silvestris catus). In the garden area there are discoveries of rare species, including the famous mahoes, Papilio machaon (Linnaeus, 1758) [7] In the evening and night, when the number of visitors decreases, bats are observed in the garden, including the chick (Eptesicus lobatus) and butterfly-footed White (Pipistrellus kuhlii).
  
  Mostly plants in the exotic garden, with a small proportion of native plant species. More than 20 species of trees and shrubs grow in the garden, including acacia, birch, lilac, oak, maple, Crimean pine, pine, ospore, poplar, spruce and others. The eastern side is planted with a maroon alley.
