A German-style landscape park, decorative and picturesque
When Beijer's park was constructed it was intended to be an equivalent to the Kungsparken for the eastern part of Malmö. The park was created through a private initiative and would come to the city after fifty years. "In 1885 and the following years, gentlemen Beijer in the area allowed a particularly attractive planting, which, without being available to the public, was under their care and supervision," AU Isberg writes in his Handbook 1923. The origin of Beijer's park at a time when large parts the park's structure in Malmö was changed, making the park particularly historically interesting.
