One of the oldest parks in Ukraine and Eastern Europe
It has a long history and a very rich variety of plants. Today, the Botanical Garden is an educational, research and conservation institution at the University of Franco. It is regionally located in two locations within the boundaries of the city of Lviv (4 Cyril and St. Methodius, 4 (2 hectares); 44 Chermshinny Street, 16 (16.5 hectares))).
The Botanical Garden has extensive educational activities aimed at disseminating plant and environmental knowledge to the public. To this end, the Botanical Garden annually holds open days for Lviv residents and guests to visit. Botanical garden staff (by appointment) regularly conduct field trips for students and students.
