The name of the garden is associated with dominance among trumpet trees, which produce nuts.
There are also beech, oak, birch, and there is a small spruce orchard. In the lake there are a number of wild ducks (Mollard), near the fir orchard there are squirrels, amphibians and birds.
In the Soviet period, the cinema "Orlyatko" (a new name - "Falcon") was built in the park. The old official name of the park until the early 1990s is the 30th anniversary park of the Lviv Liberation.
The environmental condition of the garden is unsatisfactory. Under the threat of destruction, the city building approached and continues to advance. Local activists are working to save the park and lakes. So in 2014 the lake was cleared and the springs at the bottom of the lake were cleared, so they expect the tank to fill again.
