A relaxing place with good air and panoramic view
A large park south of the capital, built in this place in the 1950s. The artificial lake is suitable for both fishing and swimming. The lake was built in 1955 with volunteer work utilizing some of the area's water supplies. In 1957 architect Valentina Pistoli gave ideas for the entire lake hills complex as well as the artwork on it. The project was pursued by a group of Bulgarian engineers headed by architect Zheko Zhikov in 1961.
