M. Gorky Culture and Recreation Park was created on October 21, 1977 by decision of the Executive Committee of Malinovsky District of Odessa City No. 136.
The development of the Green Zone began in 1961 by Gorzelentrost and the general city. More than 6000 trees grow in the garden. Among them are the Blue Spruce, Crimean Pine, Oak, Iron and Red Rowan. It is clear that a group of 5,000 shrubs from Western Thuja and Cotonster clearly delineate the boundaries. Flowering shrubs of Syrian mallow, Spanish drones, Forsythia, Japanese kerry, jasmine, lilac organically fits into it, giving the impression of a wreath of skillfully woven.
The main mission of the Culture and Recreation Park is to organize leisure, active recreation and entertainment, meet the cultural requirements of different population groups, create conditions for the restoration of physical and spiritual forces, connect people in the entertainment field, develop artistic and artistic creativity, and teach environmental culture.
The park staff constantly works to improve the recreational conditions of visitors and improve and diversify the forms of cultural and public work.
