Serene arboretum with a pond & play areas
The Victory Nursery was founded in 1960 during the Sabbath of Lenin, in commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the birth of Lenin (originally named after him).
The park has grown more than 500 species of trees and shrubs, including heat-loving specimens. Lebanon rice, yew berries, double-blade ginkgo, metasquia, common mackerel grows.
In the alley of the tree of friendship, planted by astronauts Valery Bekowski and Georgi Shonen and members of the delegations of the city hero.
There is a 700-meter artificial pond system, and some of the scenes of "The Adventures of Electronics" have been filmed here. Victory Park is one of the best in Odessa, especially recently renovated.
