The park was developed in 1934 by the demolition of the tomb of Kirill Methodius. It was created during 1934-1937 by the Dyuzhikh VI Architects Project, Yu.
It is bounded by streets: from the north - Moscow Street or Plekhanovskaya Street. From the east, it is bounded by Energy Street. To the west is Morozova Street, and to the south is a small diesel street. There are 2 subway stations near the park: Moscow Street and Malyshev Factory.
The area of the park is 100 hectares. Forests. The Crimean Linden tree is planted along the garden alleys. There are many different types of plants that grow in the garden, including poplar, common quince, triple horse fly, common hawthorn and various fruit trees.

It is bounded to the west by the Malyshev factory, and to the south by the village of Artyom.

In 1987, while digging a moat, an air bomb for World War II was found in the grounds of the park. The glass in the houses surrounding the park was broken, with hundreds of witnesses among the locals.
