Monument Park is a landscape art of national importance

The park is divided into two parts: the western part (Lenin Komsomol Park) and the eastern part (Vasilchikovsky dacha). The nearest metro stations "Beresteiskaya" (in the eastern part of the park) and "Nivki" (in the western part) are located in the immediate vicinity. The conditional separator is the railway cloth and the river Syerets.

The park has grown over 90 species of trees for centuries. Terrain hill.

    Vasilchikowski Dasha

The park was created in 1972 by a decision of the State Committee of the USSR for the conservation of nature on the basis of existing greenery. Earlier, before the revolution, the area was in the area of the present garden called "Vasilchikovsky dacha" and was the property of the Governor-General of Kiev Illarion Vasilchikov.

Vasilchikovsky dacha represents a large area of 55 acres with forests, ponds, hay fields, city and garden. Its decoration was a two-story mansion. After the death of the Governor-General, his widow, Ekaterina Alekseevna, a well-known charity in Kiev, donated her headquarters at the Holy Trinity Monastery, which he founded in Zvrinets. Dacha Vasilchikovsky remained in the possession of the monastery until the revolution of 1917, after which these lands were nationalized.

Vasilchikovsky's new dacha life began in the 1930s, when party authorities drew attention to this area. The park next to the Syrets River was surrounded by a deaf wall and turned into a special task force of senior party leaders in Kiev.

The region changed its unofficial names depending on the change of owners, and turned into a Lyubchenko hut or Kaganovich hut, Khrushchev hut or Korotchenko hut. The building then changed its purpose several times, becoming deserted until it was sold to individuals in the early 1990s. They started reform, but they did not complete it.

At present, the main building of the former party huts remains abandoned, because it is a private property protected by law. In this case, even the auxiliary buildings of the former suburban complex today are rebuilt and used safely as a restaurant and art school. Fences around special power stood until 1962.

In 1962, its territory was transferred to the city, and the park itself was renamed as "the park named after the XXII Congress of the CPSU" and opened to visitors. Another was a high-level resident of the special task force Party and statesman DS Korotchenko. In 1974, a monument was built near the entrance to the park. In 2015, on the night of May 27, the monument was demolished, along with the Komsomolets memorial of the 20s. In 1972, the park received the status of a monument to landscape art and was named as "Nivki Park".

    Lenin Komsomol Park
The Lenin Komsomol Park was created in 1954 by a decision of the October administration. Then large construction began actively: dams were installed, reservoirs were dug. In the park there was a youth hall "Youth", in the 1970s the "Green Theater" was opened. In 1991, Nivki Park rented Lenin Komsomol Park for 25 years, bringing together the hikers.
